Choir students from Washington High School (WHS), under the direction of Ken Cooper, and Charles Town Middle School (CTMS), under the direction of Lindsay Dove, represented Jefferson County Schools at the West Virginia American Choral Directors Association (ACDA) Conference in late January. The conference included a Middle School/Junior High Honor Choir, a High School Honor Choir, and a Collegiate Honor Choir.
Students spent two days working with a guest instructor to rehearse an advanced music selection before concluding with an honor concert performance. Congratulations to the following CTMS and WHS students on their participation in this distinguished choral event:
