JCS will again provide bottled water for Washington High, Charles Town Middle, Wright Denny Intermediate, OLC, and Ranson Elementary Schools. We encourage anyone who can safely bring water from home to do so again. Students in Ms. Pulsifer's classes recently took part in two exciting science labs! First, they earned an extra "star" for their impressive work in a starfish dissection lab as they identified internal and external characteristics of the sea creatures. Next, student-made density towers demonstrated how different substances interact… or not. Labs like these definitely make learning fun!

🎶 Students from all four middle schools came together Friday for an ensemble performance at Jefferson High School. The JCS Middle School All-County Honor Choir included top vocal students across the district who spent the day rehearsing together for an ensemble performance that evening. The group also enjoyed performances by vocal ensembles from Jefferson and Washington High Schools. Bravo to all! 🎶

Jan. 30, 2023 Good morning CTMS Families, Our priority at Charles Town Middle School is the safety of students and staff. Sharing accurate information with you is a critical part of providing that support. This morning, we called emergency responders to our school to support a student having a medical emergency. There was NO DANGER to other students or staff; however, to further ensure everyone's safety and privacy, a “hold” was put in place. We are grateful to our emergency responders for partnering with us to keep our school safe. For more information about the Standard Response Protocol used to protect our school, please visit www.jcswv.org/safety.
